After moving to Ohio from WV in 1970, My father's family rented a house for just a short period of time on Washington Ave. Every night my grandmother would hear my grandfather come home from work and come up the stairs only to find him NOT HOME. Noises, weird feelings of cold in the basement. Fast forward 25 years I was at my Uncle's house who lived across the street from the imfamous house, we had a dead battery and my uncle wasn't home, so we walked to the old house and asked to use the phone. While using the phone, my father asked the current home owner if he ever heard any strange sounds here as he had lived there as a kid. The owner laughed and said. "I've heard my wife come home so may times, when she wasn't really home. I lost count". Confirming the account 25 years later of a residual haunting at the private residence.
